Welcome to the 2024-25 Program Year!
Welcome to the Tallahassee (FL) Chapter of the Links Incorporated re-imagined website. We are affectionately known as Florida's First Chapter, having been chartered on May 19, 1951.
I consider it a great honor to serve as the President of the Tallahassee (FL) Chapter of the The Links, Incorporated. The Tallahassee Chapter of the Links has a rich history and over the next two years we plan to build on that Foundation, linked in Friendship and Connected in Service. I look forward to continuing this legacy with you and the Tallahassee community.
Today, the Tallahassee Chapter membership is comprised of entrepreneurs, business, and civic women leaders. We are attorneys, physicians, entrepreneurs, educators, elected officials, non-profit leaders, philanthropists and corporate executives. Our personal commitment drives us to serve. Annually, our Chapter members dedicate and invest more than 2,000 hours in service throughout our community. In addition to our gift of time, we provide scholarships to deserving students and partner with beloved HBCU, Florida A&M University. Our purpose is to help transform communities and open doors of opportunities and exposure for citizens in our community – especially African Americans.
With sincere appreciation, the Tallahassee (FL) Chapter of Links, Inc. would like to acknowledge and thank you for your support in our endeavors as we vigorously seek to cultivate and advance the lives of others. We encourage you to become one of our partners in service.
Yours in Friendship and Service
Kimberly Hankerson
President
