The National Trends and Services Facet addresses the social inequities that persist in black communities throughout the United States. The Links, Incorporated is committed toraising awareness on economic, health, social justice, and other barriers that affect our quality of life. Our goal is to eliminate disparities in these areas for the betterment of our communities.

The Links, Incorporated established the Health and Human Services Facet in response to the chronic health disparities that persist in black communities, resulting in the decreased life expectancy of African Americans and other people of African ancestry.

Members of the Tallahassee (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated celebrated 60 years of community service in the year 2011 and found it fitting to make a difference by launching The Leadership Development, Mentoring, Character Education Program and Links Beautillion (Links Beautillion). The program’s mission is to promote higher education while addressing the need for improved high school graduation rates, leadership development, character education and community service learning for students of diverse and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.
